Lisa's Story
I just hope I'm not remembered for just the bad things I have done, I have come a long way.
I have been married more than once, I'm sure that doesn't surprise anyone that knew me. I had one son from first marriage, he is now 16 (going on 30), he was born with cerebral palsey. He is wheelchair bound, but a very independent person. He has taught me alot about life, and I hope I have taught him enough to make him a stronger person when he has to face the world in adulthood. I have an 11 yr old daughter who is a drama queen. She is nothing like me when I was her age, (thank goodness) she is in her first yr of jr high. She is my tiny dancer, she has been in ballet and tap for a few years now and loves to perform. I also have an 8 yr old son who is into sports. So far he has played all the sports, but I think baseball and the rodeo are the ones he likes best. He is my wild child, already into the girls. H...Expand for more
e even flirts with the waitresses when we go out to eat.
Anyways, as you all know, I did not graduate in Parkersburg, instead I moved to Richmond, Virginia with some friends. After my divorce I went to Louisiana to be close to my mother and siblings. At the age of 30 I went back to high school and took night classes for a diploma, then went to a community college for medical billing. I now work at the Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in the Pulmonary Associates Department. I have only been there one year. My husband is a Veteran, he served in the Army. So, for 8 years I was an Army wife. I received an award from them for helping with the Family Day planning. He now works for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, he manages the crews here for all the disaster clean ups. Right now he is in Baton Rouge, we have a lot of displaced residents here from Hurriane Gustav, then 2 weeks later Hurricane Ike hit us.
