After Graduation: After graduation I married John Norton of Memphis, Texas whom I divorced within a year of our marriage. I then married Tom Branham, Sr. and moved to Midland, Texas in 1966 where we raised our three children. When my youngest began school I started working for the Midland Independent School District Cafeterias. I worked for nine years at Alamo Jr. High, six of those as the manager of the kitchen. I then went to Lee High School as the manager there for three years. During this time I also worked a second job at a grocery. My husband has been employed as a car salesman, CB radio store owner, and then a car lot owner both in Midland and Big Spring, Texas. Our children loved to join their cousins in Knox City for summer and school breaks visiting their grandparents, Mary and Truman White.
