Life after Mankato High has been non-traditional, to say the least. Did some travelling after graduation, spent a couple years in Minneapolis as the wild hippie child, then married and had my baby girl (now 35). I was usually self-employed...Vivian Woodard Cosmetics, Bee Line Fashions, UnderCover Wear, to name a few. I spent a couple years in Sioux Falls, then oved back to Minneapolis for a short stint (newly divorced). That's when I hooked up with my high school sweetheart. To make a long sotry short, we eveutually married and he recruited me into his country rock band doing keyboards and vocals. The band went on the road covering 10 states and Canada. The road isn't all it's cracked up to be! All that "good life" took it's toll on my marriage, and we parted ways after about 12 years. At that point I became a confirmed bachlorette. That's when decided to head off to college. I attended Mankato State - got my bachelors degree in psych, got accepted at UNI for grad studies...but my world somehoe fell apart. I never did make it to graduate school, but that was ok. All through my adult life I was a student of metaphysics and diverse spiritual paths and natural/alternative health. I would have had a difficult time putting labels on people and encouraging them to take pills to make it all better. During my college years I connected with a woman who make custom leather halters, dancer costumes, etc. She taught me the trade and took me on the road with her doing major motorcycle rallies all across the US.
