Ericka Dubose:

CLASS OF 1990

Ericka's Story

I always wanted to be a journalist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were mistaken. o will listen to you and that you can learn from without even knowing there is a lesson for you to learn that day. The world is a great place you just have to surround yourself with good friends and family to keep yourself grounded. In the year 1990 I stayed in Houston for a short while then moved to Alabama for the holidays and on through to the Mardi Gras parades. By the year 1991 I found myself in San Francisco, CA. I fooled around there for about two and a half years until my first child was born. It was a boy. He was beatifully handsome if I may say so myself. Soon aftere his birth I felt one of those California earthquakes and I was outta there. I moved (permanently) Mobile, Al. I've been here ever since and I think I might stay until my last child goes off to college or whatever she decides to do with her life.
