Teresa's Story
As for what makes me, me . . . I'd have to say that I'm a very complex individual. My family means everything to me. My husband, Donnie, adult daughters Alicia and Julianne and myself, continue to live with my parents which is not my ideal first choice, but appears to be where we were meant to be as they have had several minor health issues to deal with and it's been a blessing to live here.
My sister, Leanne and her two kids, Dylan and Betsy, live close by and we are very involved in supporting their sports and school functions whenever possible, too. For someone who always wanted to graduate and move away, it's pretty amazing to be living where I am. LOL
I LOVE working as a Program Manager and Physical Therapist Assistant in a small town long term care facility, literally in the middle of nowhere. But, it's a true home to our residents. Loving, caring staff and everyone knows everyone. Kinda like having...Expand for more
50+ grandparents to work with everyday.
My creative passion involves photography which has been a very expensive habit. I've been published in Country Magazine and even had a story published in their magazine. I have another picture going to be in Farm and Ranch in Feb/March issue. I prefer still life photography, and candid, real life pictures, but have been known to take a portrait or two. In the past year I've decided to branch out and hopefully soon, make it my next profession.
Also, I LOVE working with the teenagers in the TEC program. My daughter Julianne said I should go and see what it's all about and once I did, I've been involved anyway I can ever since June of 2006.
There are so many things I've enjoyed doing and trying but I'd say traveling and living in different areas have been a few of the highlights.
