Erin's Story
I am morning a very close friend of mine who took his life 10/29/08. I had know him for over a year at NASJRB Nola, LA and had the chance to get to know him better these last 5 months.
We were not able to have a relationship due to my still being married to my husband. Alex was a navy master at arms 2nd class petty officer. We enjoyed talking, long walks on the beach, camping and spending time together. The military and my soon to be ex-husband made it difficult for us to have any type of relationship. yes I do partially blame my soon to be ex-husband for Alex's death, since he would not leave me alone, constantly turning up at my front door. he was the one who didn't want to be married and filed for a divorce then he should have left well enough alone. I will always love Alex for being there when I really needed a good friend and only regret we never had a true relationship. Alex I love you from the bottom of my heart! Rest in peace.
After High school I was living with my now ex-husband in New Hope. I married again to a navy may, yeah right, well anyway, I have 3 beautiful kids from my first marriage.
I see a lot of familiar faces here and there, but no one remembers who I am. I guess they all would remember me as " Moon's little sister".
