Suzanne's Story
I actually did not graduate from Coral Shore High but I went to school there from 1-8 grade. I joined classmates.com because I grew up in Key Largo and I was curious as to what happen to all the people I grew up with. I moved to Stuart FL. In 1977 and graduated from there.
I started collage after my graduation but dropped out to get married. Not too smart. After 4 years and 1 child I got divorced and stayed that way for 13 years.
I lived in LA. for 5 years where I started back to college in 1995 while I was there. In 1997 my mother got sick and I moved back to Key Largo to be with here in her final days. 6 Months after her death my father also passed away.
I ran into an old fling and friend from my growing up days in Key Largo, Gary Johnson, and In 1999 we were married and still happy after all thers years!!
Today I am a college student studying for my Bachlors degree in Information technology focusing on Programming. Only 3 more classes le...Expand for more
ft after the one I am doing now. I do this from home as I am a care giver for My father-in-law and my aunt on my husbands side.
I recieve payment from the department of veteran affairs as my father-in-law is 100% disabled veterian in the spinal cord injury unit. My aunt is mentally challanged and she lives in an apartment that is attached to the house.
Our home is located in Ocala Fl. but since my mother-in-law passed away 2 1/2 years ago we have been staying at my father-in-laws home as it is 100% wheel chair accessable. We mantain our home still and will return when the time comes.
My goal when I finish my bachlors degree, if I can make it through as this class is the hardest one so far, I plan to work from home as a computer programmer. I might go on and get my masters degree but I plan on taking a break for at least a year as I am almost brain dead!!
I would love to hear from some of the people I grew up with to see how life is doing for them.
