e had 2 beautiful children together. We divorced in 2007. In October of the same year I married my long lost sweetheart, David Leslie. I can't imagine my life without him. He has healed my heart and my soul.
In 2008 I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, but I have suffered from this for many years before doctors gave my pain a name. In 2010 I was also diagnose with rheumatiod arthritis. I can't stress enough how important it is to be validated for your pain. For years I had people, my ex, and the doctors tell me it was all in my head. "I'm NOT lazy, I'm NOT crazy! I AM in pain!" But my illnesses does not define who I am. I am pretty much the same person I was in high school. Except I no longer take anyones bull s**t! I am my own person, I make my own decisions, and I live my life the way I want to live it. You can love me or hate me it really makes no difference to me. I am who I am and you or no one else is ever going to change me or break my spirit again.".
