Sharon's Story
I graduated in 1960. My folks ran Parkers' Cafe. My High School days were probably the most memorable and most fun of my life. I had so much fun in school---should have studied harder--maybe---but have done well in my life. I have a sister, Dawn,
(Longmont, CO) aand a brother, Jim, (Kirksville, MO). I was married to Marvin Ordway for 20 years and divorced. I have 3 children, Marlin,45, (Idaho Falls, ID), Mike,43,
(also ID) and Michelle, 38, (Spearfish, SD) and 3 grandsons.
I moved from Spencer and O'Neill to Jackson WY and 6 years later met my 2nd husband, Fred Putz. We were married 15 years and in 2002, he passed away from lung cancer. I moved t...Expand for more
o Spearfish, SD. to be close to my daughter and her family. (mostly my grandson, Kyler, 9) I am retired from an Assisted Living Center where I was the Activity Director. I now keep busy going to Kyler's soccer, basketball, and football games. He is a sports nut and whatever season it is he is there and he is a good player. I now volunteer at our local Hospice here in Spearfish. I also have several 'older than me' ladies that call me and I take them to the doctor or grocery store and I like helping them.
I am very thankful for my life and all the great friends I have made. I hope to see you at this next class reunion and for sure our 50th in 2010.
