Amy's Story
Somehow my last name is spelled wrong, it is Fitzner.
I am married to a wonderful man for 9 years now and have a beautiful little boy who turned 3 in August 2008. Our family also has a family pet, Hydn.
After HS, I pursued my Bachelor's and then my Master's Degrees at UB in Music Education. I left Honeoye and never returned. My family is no longer residing in Honeoye. No desire to return either. I now live in Orchard Park, NY and we live so close to the Bills Stadium, we can walk! Just hope then can start winning!
I currently teach music in two elementary schools, grades K-5. I also teach 3 choirs, 2 drama clubs, and I am President of a Music Organization in Buffalo, NY.
When I am not teaching 750 kids, I love to go for walks with my family and hang out with them on playgrounds. I am always seeking things to do outside with my son and hu...Expand for more
sband. We also love to go to historical sites such as WIlliamsburg, VA or Gettysburg, PA. We are just fascinated with history!
I am a huge Disney fan and love any Disney movie that comes out. I have seen the movie Cars more times than any one person can imagine, it was my son's favorite for a while.
My life is my family & teaching! Not much has changed. I am very motivated and driven and I guess, if you still want to call me this, I am still a nerd. I am strong willed, opinionated and sometimes outspoken. Wouldn't have it any other way:)
For those who are reading this and knew my mom Mary Ellison, she passed on June 3, 2009. Her daughters: Kim Ellison (Chamberlain) and Melissa Ellison (Youngers) and I were there with our husbands. Married to my dad for 37 years, we could all be so lucky for a love like that. May she rest in peace now.
