Sarah S's Story
After HS Graduation, I went on to WCC and got an associate in Executive Secretary (1971). Married also in 1971. Husband (Andrew/Andy) was in the Air Force here at Seymour Johnson. He got out in 1973. We moved to New York which is where he is from for three months and returned to Goldsboro, where he joined the Goldsboro Police Department and to later work with the State of NC as a corrections officer and Probation and Parole as a Surveillance Officer (retired ...Expand for more
now)(works with computers to pass time); and I went to work for the State of NC (30 years and 3 months before retiring but have returned as part-time at Cherry Hospital (Medical Records)). I had a daughter in 1978 and a son in 1982. She married in 1998 and had my first grandchild (a boy) in 2008 (she works with the Red Book of Goldsboro's New-Argus). I had a son in 1982 and he married in 2008 -- no grandchildren yet (he is employed with Toyota of Goldsboro).
