Shannon's Story
Married for 17 years. I have a wonderful husband and 3 great kids. I have a 15 yr old Brandon, a 12 year old Bailey & a 5 year old Brayden. I love being a mom and stay very active with all their activities. We live in Flower Mound Texas!
I got married to my wonderful husband, Craig, in 1991. We met when I was a senior in High school & have been together ever since. We had our first 2 kids when we were in our early 20's, then 7 years later we had another! I was happy with 2. A boy and a girl. It took a long time for him to talk me into that 3rd, and I'm glad he did. We are very thankful to have healthy, wonderful kids!
I work with my husband at his sign company in Carrollton. It allows me to have a flexible schedule so I can be a Taxi service for my kids. :o)
My oldest, Brandon, is a sophmore at Marcus High school. (wow.... I'm not old enough to have a child in high school!) He is a great student & an awesome big brother....Expand for more
I feel blessed to have a high school son who still loves to hug his mom!
My middle child, Bailey, is a 7th grader at Lamar Middle school. She's quite the social butterfly and worries more about boys and fashion than about her grades! My mom tells me she is just like I was. (If thats the case, then High School scares me!)
My youngest child, Brayden, is 5 years old and started Kindergarten this year. He's quite the character. A great mix of his big brother and his sister. My older kids have been great in school and never get in trouble, however, Brayden found himself in the VP's office on the 4th day of school! Nothing major, just doesn't like rules and things getting in his way.... :o)
I still stay in contact with one of my closest friends from middle school/ high school, Diana (Lumpkins) Hagar. I talk to her on a regular basis and we always share who we have seen lately.
