Libby's Story
I have lived in NC now for over half my life. I have two beautiful children, Andrea and Amy. Andrea is a school teacher (she is great with her students!) I am so proud! I go see their plays, etc and watch with pride as the students all run to see Mrs _____! My youngest daughter, Amy is in the dental hygeine program and will graduate in May! Yeah! We are so excited! It is surprising what they have to learn! She could be a doctor! So you can see why I am so proud! My grandson, Kaleb is my heart! I am truly blessed and I just love life! I miss my family back in Ohio so much! I don't get to see them nearly enough. I have a stepdaughter and she and her family live out in Arizona. I miss them dearly. They use to live in NC. Amber and Chris have two wonderful boys, Zack (14) and Alex (10). I have worked with the NCDOT for 20 years and love my job. The work is very interesting. We do alot for safety. I have learned so much and the people I work with are such professionals. These people amaze me almost every day. They are dedicated to making our roads safer and I love being part of th...Expand for more
at. I am so grateful to look back and see some of the names of the people I grew up with on this website. It is unbelievable! I hope this note finds you all well! As I read your names, I see your faces. Faces I haven't thought about for such a long time... it is very heartwarming. I remember all those "school days" and it brings a smile. Just think, back then we were all wishing we were grown ups! What were we thinking? Are you kidding me? We had it made. Ice skating on the tennis court in the winter, sledding, & all the fun winter sports. (At least we had enough snow to build snowmen! In NC you are lucky if it even snows in the winter!) When it does snow here, everything STOPS! It is hilarious! Then in the summers the days were filled with endless days at the pool! Learning to go off the high dive! Those were the days! I hope life is being good to you these days. If it's not, hang in there. We all have bad times.
I wish all my old friends "enough". If you've never heard that old saying, I will share it another time. Just know when I see your names, I am smiling. Take care.
