Joanne's Story
After getting married, after graduation, in 1961, my husband
Jim and I moved to the Clevland,
Ohio area for 14 years. He spent
3 years in the Navy in Long Beach,
Calif, where I joined him when his
ship was in port for 8 month periods.
Our daughter, Renee, was born there,
then later when we returned to Ohio,
our son Jeff, was born. They are both

the school system in Lee Co., one
as a teacher,the other a guidance
counselor. We have one grandsonn, Nate,
who is 13 years old. We love to travel,
have visited all states except two,Maine and Oregon which we hope to
visit in the next 2 years. Jim had to
retire early from the Railroad because
of a brainstem stroke, from which he
has fully recovered.
