Tommy's Story
After flunking the eleventh grade, I did manage to graduate the next year with the most wonderful bunch of folks. Went on to Junior College at Sandhills Community College in Southern Pines, NC. Had so much fun there, I just had to finish up so I graduated from UNC- Pembroke. Joined the Navy as a Corpsman with the Marine Corp then was picked up for the Officer Program. ut of Pearl Harbor for 3 and a half years after I got my commission. Got out in 1983; worked for Pepsi-Cola in LA for a while then moved to Nashville TN to chase a music dream until I realized I might starve to death if I didn't get a real job. Moved to Charlotte and have worked in various manufacturing and distribution environments ever since. I live on Lake Norman truly enjoying life.
