Andrew's Story
Graduated from U of A Mech Engineering in '87, Married since '94, 3 kids (2M, 1F), love to ski/dirtbike, met wife while rockclimbing, lived in Ontario, BC, and now West Africa (Gabon) for oil company. Not into office politics, bluster and all the "trying to get promoted" crap. Just like to get the job done...a bit of a goal focused individual. Used to do 10k runs, triathlons, and did a half-ironman and a marathon. Too practical perhaps to do an entire ironman or do a lot of marathons. ts of mountain biking, hiking, backcountry and alpine skiing. Actually considered a career switch to a ski guide but found out we were going to have our first child so dropped the idea and moved out to Vancouver instead. Now into doing interesting and fun activities with family & friends (eg. beach, sightseeing, offroading via car/dirtbike, eating foreign foods - don't like bland stuff). Miss living in Alberta but also glad to have opportunity to live elsewhere. Best thing I ever did was to get married to an awesome woman and the next was to have children with her!
