Wade's Story
Well; If you must know, here's my Story. After Monroe, I decided to go into the US Air Force; well I did this mostly to avoid the Draft. I did get that letter in the Mail telling me that I had been Drafted into the US Army. I did not like this at all, just the idea of going to Nam and shooting VC's, sent chills down my spine. I remembered that I took the test for the Air Force during my Senior year, so I went to the Recruiters office in Rockingham, and ask for their help. They were able to re-direct me to the Air Force instead. After discharge from the AF, I got into Railroading in Hamlet, and served over 15 years there, and during this time I got Married and was Blessed with two Wonderful Boys. After the downsizing of the Railroad in Hamlet, I went on the road as a long haul Truck Driver until I signed up for a position with Amtrak. So, Now I am close to Retiring altogether, and I'm looking forward to this. There are many in Hamlet/Rockingham area know me for my work in Photography during the time that I held down my job with CSX Railroad in Hamlet. I enjoy Photography, and Perhaps I will be doing it in the future, as a Hobby. I just may want to take a Picture of you; so ask me?
