Robert's Story
Finished UVa in 76. Moved to NYC in 80 for a PhD in Econ at Columbia. Worked in the 80s as a specialist on Sub-Saharan Africa. Back to Richmond in 88, working at the Federal Reserve and as a professor at the University of Richmond. Moved in 2007 to Alexandria, VA, where I worked for NFIB and the Mercatus Center at GMU. U. Now, I'm an independent economist, journalist, and musician at RFG Econ. Traveled all over Africa, Europe, and Asia.
