Priscilla's Story
I graduated in the class of 1966, I attended AM&N/UAPB. and graduated with a B.S. degree in physical education. I have lived in the metro/Detroit area since 1970. I have been a teacher in the Detroit Public Schools since 1977, I have to give honor to Miss Charlen Warre,who was my role Model. I have 3 beautiful childrens,One beautiful Daughter, Natasha,Two handsome Son's Lewis Chadaz, and Harold Van, and 2 wonderful grandchildren, Devonta, and Onyx Jewel, I have 2 Master's Degree. When I return to the Little Rock area upon retirement, I plan on become a part-time teacher at Philander Smith, Shorter College or a full time teachers some where in the Little Rock area in a Middle School setting. Most of the 34 years teaching in Detroit,has been in a Middle School(social Studies and Readng), and I will continue to work with God's help, until around the age of 66 or 67. h 4th.I can truly say I've been Blessed. So as I prepare for my return, May God bless me and my family,on my up-coming return! As of July 1st,I will officially be retired from the Detroit
Pubic School system.Relocating to the Little Rock area around October 1st, I look forward to working with the Lincoln High School Alumni committee, and last but not the least the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Alumni Association. I have been blessed, my mother, Miss Thelma is still alive, and well! I have buried two sisters Erma Jean, and Jacquline, the love of my life,and my brothers in crime Colbert Jr. and Vester Lee, I ask God for his continuing Grace and Mercy, I keep in touch with all of my special classmates, Edna Mae,Larry, Leonard,Good Lee, Stanley,Lee Andrew,
Mildred bailey, who is the Godmother of my daugher, Sarah Hodges, who is the godmother to my oldest son. Ruthie, and so many too named. you are all special to me! epecially if God has kept you, and your are in good health. May God bess and Keep you!
