Mary's Story
Life has been quite a ride since graduation from OLSH. I fell in love with learning at Pitt and been teaching and learning ever since. I hope to complete my dissertation and graduate this December with my EdD from IUP. Isn't that a hoot, Dr. Minahan, I'm sure Sister Marcia will roll over in her grave when it happens. (God bless her little soul) As most of you know, I married my high school sweetheart, had two wonderful kids and a great life together until his sudden death in 2000. on and rich laughter in the voice of our daughter. Ellen and Patrick are the center of my life and remind me each day what is truly important in life. It has been interesting to watch my young children evolve into young adults.
The past few years brought many changes in our lives. We moved into a big old Victorian house, which I enjoy restoring with the help of my husband but at the chagrin of my children. The three of us (O'Toole's,) are presently in college working hard to reach of our career goals. Life is good, we are all happy and look forward to what life will bring us.
