Lois's Story

After graduating from School of the Osage in 1961 I went to college at CMSU, Warrensburg, MO. I graduated with my BS in Ed in 1966. I started teaching in the Raytown, MO system. I got married and became Mrs. Kohanowski, I had five children. We lived 9 years in Tennessee, 10 years in Alabama and a year in Chicago. In 1986 I divorced my husband of 22 years, went back to school...Expand for more
and obtained my masters in Ed reading specialist. I retired from teaching in the Waynesville, MO school system. I remarried in 1994 and became Mrs. Dodds. My husband of 14 years passed away March, 2008. I presently live on a farm in Dixon, MO area with one dog and one cat. I now enjoy coming to the lake area to sing karaoke and dance. I am now Lois Elaine Dodds of Dixon, MO.
