I live in California. After taking 5 years to get through ACHS, (failing 5 classes for the year) I graduated from Glassboro, UC Berkeley grad school, have written several books and taught many places including Berkeley. Sometimes I still feel like I am in the bad bird group- the lowest reading group at Oxford Avenue School (as opposed to the bluebirds) where the teachers knew there was something wrong with me. I arose from the lowly blackbirds to the high group Ventnor High. I must admit I thought that was abominable, posting whether you were in high middle or low group on the doors of Ventnor Jr. High for all to sneer or celebrate.
