Jennifer's Story
I have been a speech language patholist for almost 10 years, and have worked in long term care for that entire time. I love working with the elderly because they have so much knowledge to share with us, and they have been the generation that has made us what we are now.
I have 3 children. Emma Caroline, 6, is my oldest and most like me. She wants to be a nurse someday because, in her words, she "just knows how to help people." With 3 children, I don't have a lot of spare time, so I mostly enjoy going to their activities and watching them discover their talents. I teach Sunday school and enjoy volunteeting when I can. I wish I had more time to read and write, but maybe someday....
I live in Hurricane, WV, between Huntington and Charleston. I have 2 bassett hounds, Henry and Georgia. My husband, who is a CPA, is from WVa and we met in college. We hope to someday have a small farm or some acreage -- I miss the country and wide open spaces. Who knows, we just might move back to Kentucky!
