Hello classmates: From Franklin High, I moved to Hampton, VA, received my diploma, and worked at the Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company (1962-67), where I worked on Polaris submarines and became a supervisor responsible for the distribution of ship components. Becoming born-again believers in Christ, my wife Mary and I joined Victory Baptist Church in Hampton in 1964. I attended Eastern Baptist College while working in the shipyard. During 1967-69, I attended Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary, in Johnson City, NY, and Clarks Summit, PA. I completed graduate studies at Bob Jones University Seminary, in Greenville, SC, receiving the PhD in Church History and Historical Theology. I began teaching at BJU Seminary, in 1973, and continued there until my retirement in 2012.
