Angie's Story
Well everyone who used to know me, Im not the same person that I was in high school. Im not quite and shy anymore. Ive been through alot of stuff in my life with my heart problems (very thankful and thank god everyday that Im still here) that have made me realize just how short life really is so I now say what I feel and I try to do the things in life that make me happy. I raised my son who is now 21 and he was my top priority at the time now its my time. I went to work at Fort Gordon straight out of school and stayed there till my job ended. I moved to Alabama with my sons father for awhile then came back here to have my son (health reasons). I went to work at the Mc...Expand for more
Duffie County Board of Education when he was 6 months old. I stayed there until 1996 when I had to leave on disability (heart again). So now I stay at home and play with my 3 year old niece everyday. I have been married to George Goodman since 1989. I have had another open heart surgery since the one in ninth grade. I have a pacemaker now (got it in 2001). I finally gained a little weight, which I have now lost again, but I finally feel good most days. I think I could go in the Guiness Book of World Records for the most scars, but thats one of the things that makes me who I am and the unique person that I am. Well I think that about sums up my exciting (ha ha) life.
