Sabina Garbowski:  

After graduating high school, I went on to get my bachelor's and masters in mathematics. I met my husband at my first teaching job. It was a whirlwind romance and we have been together for 38 years. I have a son and daughter and am lucky enough to have three grandsons. I have been teaching at a local high school for 30 years. I have also been an adjunct professor at a college close to home for 18 years. I enjoy being with my family and spending time with my hubby. We both love to travel with San Francisco being one of our favorite stops but always make time for Napa and Sonoma. I love to dabble in finding the perfect wine. My interests are varied according to the season. Boating, fishing, or resting on a beach make me content in the summer. Apple picking, baking and day trips fill the weekends in the fall. I am planning to retire in the next two years and that will give me more time with my husband, children and grandchildren. Hopefully, my husband and I will make that return trip to Hawaii. We'll see.... Four years later (?) We now have a granddaughter and another grandson from our daughter. I have been retired almost 3 years and enjoying it with my hubby. We help watching our grandchildren taking them to school, soccer and all the normal activities that come up. We have taken a few short trips and are thrilled with spending some vacations with our children and their families!!! I spend some of my leisure (?) time doing crafts, sewing, and also tutoring ( they still seek me out). I am loving this part of my life but most importantly I am spending it with my best friend and love of my life.... My husband! Still going strong 43 years together! 45 years later and Stan and I are busy with family and friends. Our grandchildren are growing up and it is wonderful to be a part of their lives....Expand for more
