Lisa's Story
After graduating from Township, I became a full-time teller at Bank of Lancaster County for 3 years. I then became interested in law enforcement and started out as a police dispatcher for Lancaster City. After Lancaster city went to County-Wide communications, I worked as a dispatcher for the county for about 4 more years. I then became a police officer for Reading City in '97. hild Richard who is 7 now. My husband, Richard, is from Parma,Oh and that is where we reside. We actually live in Parma Heights,Oh. We just had our second child, Alyssa, not too long ago, she is 19months. I have been working full-time as police dispatcher for Shaker Heights Police Dept. I am going on my 7th year there as a dispatcher. This is my life. I still have family in Lancaster whom we visit during the holidays and I also keep in touch with my best friends, Jennifer Piersol and Holly Metzger.
