Stacey's Story
After high school I went to the University of Arkansas for awhile. I didn't finish because I just really didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. I did meet my husband there, a quiet little physics major named Dan. We married in '87 had our first kid in '89 and then proceeded to have 3 more. hortly after Bessie was born I finally figured out what I wanted to do with my life.
I make balloon animals for a living. It's a great job to have and I love going to work. Dan and the 3 of the kids are also balloon artists so it's become a family project. Last year the balloons outgrew the house so I set up a small boutique in the historic area of Kansas City. It's an office for our balloon business as well as a small retail shop focused on locally made art.
