James's Story
After many years I've decided to join this website, and I'm really kind of saddened on how nobody in our class seems to care about the past anymore--really hope we have a 50th reunion !!! Well for anyone who remembers me, the kid who came to Batavia High in our senior year from Tonawanda and had a very nice year including a footbal championship, several cute romances and several great adventures with the jocks. After graduation spent a wasted party year at Brockport State, another wasted year in Buffalo at Bryant & Stratton and finally joined the Air Force in 1966. Viet Nam, Thailand, Germany and Oklahoma, retired after 26 years, 7,000 hours of flying time and settled in Oklahoma-- woked for the State, Retired, now drawing my social security along with the other 2 retirements and feel I'm living quite well. Married in 1969 for 14 years, divorced in 1984, 2 wonderful daughters (engineer and r.n.) and remarried in 1988 to Debra and we have had a wonderful 20 years and are still together. 3 great grandkids which probably take up 60% of my life now, will be in New York this July if anybody wants to visit.
