Kelly's Story
After high school, I went to Bob Jones University for 3 semesters, but went home when my Dad started his own business. I worked several retail job until I started working communications for Ft.Lauderdale Police Dept. I got married and had four boys. I got smart and divorced in 1993. The boys and I moved to Indianapolis in 1997 to be close to my family. I started working for United Airlines at the Indy maintenance center in 1999. I met my husband Ralph there in '01 and married in February '03. Fortunately, I have been able to do the stay at home mommy thing for several years. I have been with the boys at their ball games,choir concerts,ROTC,etc. I loved it. The boys are grown now,but are still keeping us very busy. Ryan(26)is a teacher's aide for special needs kids and working on his degree in education. He is a youth leader and in the choir at his church. Jeff(24)went to Lincoln Tech and has an associates degree in automotive management. He is married to a sweet girl Mary,and they had a beautiful baby girl Natalie Marie 2months old....Expand for more
I love being a grandma and have promised to spoil her rotten. Kyle (22) went into the Navy, but he was injured and sent home. He is working as a service tech for Ace rent-a-car at the new airport. Brad(19)works as a service tech at Ace also and is planning to attend University of Indianapolis in the fall. He and Bridget are expecting a baby girl in November. Another one to spoil rotten. Bridget is also at UofI. She is in her second year of nursing. I am currently helping my mother take care of my 92 years old grandmother. She is a hand-full. We are animal crazy. We have two dogs- Kodiak(5 year old black lab-cocker spaniel mix)and Charlie(1year old yorkie-chihuahua mix)and four cats Pebbles(she's 6yrs old and a diva),Buttons(she's 8yrs old sweetheart),Samson(he's 2yrs. old and he is Kodiak's best friend), and Stevie (aka-cry baby is 3months old and loves to play with Charlie). Yes, the cats and the dogs are best friends. We also have a rabbit named Trix. He is three yrs.old and lives up to his name.
Well,that is my crazy life so far.
