Heather's Story
Time has flown and life has been FULL! After FHHS, I attended Wake Forest University and had a fantastic four years. Much like FHHS, it was small enough to know everyone but large enough to grow and explore all that life (and college) had to offer. I had a few unique opportunities (a subject for another time) and graduated with a BA in Organizational Communication. From there (after a summer of free labor during my junior year), I joined Marriott International as a member of the management team at the Chicago O'hare Marriott Hotel. property level and at the corporate headquarters. It was time to learn more and I completed my master's degree in Human Resource Development as a full time student while working full time around the globe. This is not something I recommend unless you're hooked up to a Starbucks I.V. I met my husband, Flynt several years later and we were married in 1995. Our son, Flynt Crawford arrived in 1999 to complete our family. I'm using all of my education and expeience to raise our son at home and find myself plugged into many endeavors at church, school and the community. God is good! I look forward to reconnecting with some old "federal friends!"
