Marie's Story

Currently live near Olympia, WA. My husband and I both retired from the Air Force a few years ago and decided to settle in the Northwest!!! It is so beautiful here and is an environmental paradise. I have a daughter aged 40 who presently lives in DuPont, WA and is a hairdresser/barber. My granddaugter is 14 years old and will be going into the 9th grade. We have had the opportunity to visit all 50 states and several countries. After I retired from...Expand for more
the Air Force, I worked several civilian positions and now I work part time at Amazon. I have taken up gardening and love it. I also like to hike and ride my bicycle. There are dozens of nice trails around here (just a stone's throw from my house). It is rainy 7 or 8 months out of the year, so I cram in all my outside activities during the summer. Summers here are just awesome!! I like to tend to outdoor plants during the other part of the year.
