Sandra's Story
I was very shy in high school, and many people(I later found out)thought I was stuck up--that was not the case at all! However, you would never know how shy I was now.
I got married very early in life and had 2 children who are now grown-- Luke & Kami Johnson. I later moved to Illinois and graduated college at Western Illinois University where I majored in Sociology with a Minor in English.
I remarried and have a daughter who is almost 12,and who has inherited the music genes! I play guitar and call myself a singer/songwriter. I competed in many local Richmond area...Expand for more
talent shows in my 20's and have quite a few wins under my belt.
After college, I moved back to Virginia and began work as a counselor at a women's transitional house in Lynchburg, VA. Eventually, I made my way back closer to Richmond and became a teacher at a child development center.
I am currently helping my husband with his business: Square D Construction & enjoying being at home. I still write songs and plan to submit some of them soon to see what happens.
My mother has all my old school photos, so I will have to get one and put it up for the " Then" photo.
