When we were young and at IA, we couldn't wait to graduate and be on our own. As we grow older, we realize how much fun we were having there. I remember someone throwing rocks at my window in the middle of the night, trying to wake me up. I also remember bon fires on the lake and trying my best to ice skate (not my specialty), but oh what fun it was!! I remember progressive parties, banquets, and lots of fun with GREAT friends!! I feel that losing my mother at the young age of 17 certainly routed my life in a different direction than were my plans. I just wanted to get married, have children and feel the LOVE I had lost when my mother passed!! And that is exactly what I did. I will have been married 39 years in August to the same man.
