Gene's Story
I left Niles after graduation (workd for the US Forest Sevice that summer) and attended West Virginia University 1973-1977 where I got a BS degree in Wildlife Resources (Specialization in Forest Management). After that I taught school for 3 years and then went to Penn State University in State College, PA for a MS Degree in Wildlife Management (Minor in Forest Management)1980-83. njoyable career anda great life. I got married in 1976 to my wife, Sandy (Calhoun) who was from Warren. We are still best friends after 33 years of marriage (and 5 years together before that). We never had kids (no regrets, i was our choice). I decided to check this site out and see if I could find people from our class. I have been back to Niles from time to time and have run into a few classmates here and there. I have lost track of most of the Class of 1973. It is always good to see or hear from a friend from the past!
