Vicki's Story
ok here goes 25 years in a nutshell. after not being let back into parklands school it seems i had a bit of a bad attitude. i tried claremont which just didn't jive with me either.
i went to nanny my sisters kids on salt spring island. she was a teacher at the high school. she encouraged me to attend there and finish off my years with correspondence to receive enough credits. which i did.
after graduation i moved to calgary where my sister nancy was living. i lasted a couple of years before i missed the coast enough to pack up and head home. she did the same a year later.
i lived at my brother rick's houseat. when he got married and went to greece i looked after the house. i worked at eatons in the reupholster fur...Expand for more

i met ivan in 1986 when he came home from tree planting in bc. i went with him the next year and did 2 years before we headed to california. he went to the brooks institute of photography and i worked full time at the City of Santa Barbara, the Chamber of Commerce then we both managed at a dude ranch out of town.
we returned to bc in 1992 to work and live in vancouver. we moved to tsawwassen in 1997 with a 3 year old and a 3 month old. reece and jesse.
we saved and bought our house and are very happy living close to the beach, the island and the city.
our plan is to build a house in pt. roberts in about 5 years when jesse is finished high school.
only a one bedroom, no room for kids. boo hoo!
