Ronald's Story
After I left Purcell High School, I spent 4 years at OSU. I asked the girl I married to marry me on our second date. She thought I was crazy. It took me three months to convince her to marry me. We married on July 3, 1969 and I left for active duty on August 3, 1969. I received a degree from CSU in 1975. I have had a lot of jobs in the years since then. nd CAS, regional manager of Midway Sales of Oklahoma and Arkansas, owner of MSO, Inc., manufacturer's representive for 6 major building materials manufacturers and then I went back to Star as marketing representative after my wife retired after 34 years as a speech pathologist. I lost my wife to congestive heart failure on December 26, 2008 after 39 years of marriage to me. I recently retired, RIF, and am currently remodeling my home with the help of friends. The work keeps me sane most of the time.
