Maria's Story
I'm in the beginning stages of my fourth life. My first life was spent in Roanoke where I lived down the street from Jefferson High School and Barbonelli's Grocery Store; my second life was spent raising my four children in Nampa, Idaho. Then, while still raising my children, I exchanged my Mrs. title for a Ms., and for the next 20 years bravely faced 25 to 30 4th and 5th grade students each morning. eedom by taking ski lessons (still in the petrified stages but loving it), swimming, making new friends, volunteering with Assistance League, starting a silk flower business, and reading until the wee hours. I don't know how I had the time or inclination to work!! I love Idaho because of the many outdoor opportunities and the fact that half of my children and grandchildren are close by. My latest adventure was in Elko, Nevada, where I spent a month campaigning for Obama.
