Gail's Story
Can't believe that it has been almost 39 years since graduation.
I have 2 sons. My oldest is 38 born to me and Ed Shafer (we're divorced) and my youngest son is 28 born to me and my late husband Bob Burton.
When Bob and I married in 1980, we moved with his son and my son to Beaverton Oregon and then we had a son.
In 1985 we moved to the Sacramento area. I became a Legal Secretary and Bob was a Warehouseman. Bob passed away in April of 1993. I have remained single since. He was my one and only true love.
I now live in West Sacramento in a Senior apartment complex. The complex is only 3 houses away from my youngest son. I just love it here. I have met...Expand for more
some great friends and am involved with the community serving on committees.
I have 3 grandchildren who live very far away and I don't get to see them. My youngest son and his wife have been trying for a few years to get pregnant, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Sure would love to have grandchildren close by.
I go to Reno alot because my brothers and a sister lives there, the town sure has changed. I drive by our old school and it looks so small to me. I remember it being so big.
I hope to hear from some of you to see what you are up to.
Lyla Kendziora, Carol Mullins, Judie Miller and Ellen Santini and myself all hung around together.
