Carrie's Story
During my Senior year, in 1984, I went to Vocational School at Don Roberts Beauty School in Valparaiso.I received my Cosmotology License in August 1988.
I married my High School Sweetheart, Ron Mann, in 1988 as well. (This May, we will have been happily married for 21 years.) I dabbled in hairdressing for awhile, then was employed at TP Orthodontics, in Westville for several years. Ron and I had our son, Justin, in 1994. ing my time at home with them I waited until they were in school to get involved in the school system. I was Vice-President for two years in the PTO, then became President, where I still am holding that position today. I started out doing some substitue teaching, which is what I am doing now, while also holding a Teacher's Assistant position for 5th grade at the Wanatah School. I have kept my Cosmotology License Active as I have my own Salon in my home. In my spare time I keep busy in my small Alterations Business. I guess my main objective in life is that I enjoy helping people one way or another.
