Rosanne's Story

I've done some neat things in my life. Have 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren. Studied Interior Decoration. Ran a business for 13 years. 3 daughters: Angela was in army as MP, then police officer. Until recently....3 children. Second: Sheila studied genetics at Kennesaw Univ, and Univ of Hawai: is listed in the book of WHO's WHO. Worked in an advanced genetic lab unit for 9 years - 6 member staff in Atl, GA. Has girl and boy. Michelle, graduated top 2% at Devry Univ Atl, GA...in book of WHO's Who, employed with Dardin Food Industries; Red Lobster, Longhorn's Capitol Grille, etc. Is their Senior Financial Analyst at the Corporate Office in Orlando,FL. 1980 - I was a member of the International Federation of Roller Skaters. My memorable experience was in competition (aired on TV) at the Orlando Roller Rink (no longer there): artistic skating and dance. 1981 went to Appalachian Technical College near Atl for medical studies. Of all courses taken, tutored in medical terminology, pharmacology, and the body's systems. Medical studies came easy to me and my professor wanted me to go on in my studies to become a doctor...said I had a natural understanding for medicine. My daughters were young and opted to stay at home with them. From 1990-1995: Worked in television for 5 yrs in close association with the president of the network, then was offered my own program which I hosted for 2 yrs. Often sang songs I wrote, had panel discussions and special guest speakers. Enjoyed teaching which centered on life enrichment. Was divorced in 1997. In 2002, had the challenge of assisting a business woman in the opening of her new business. Set up data base of essential oils and their me...Expand for more
dical uses, systemized the operations dept and worked in her husband's lab measuring and mixing oils. Named some of the oil blends and enjoyed designing elite fragrancing lamps. My line of lamps was a unique grouping called the Russian Jewel Collection (ceramic), which is displayed on the business website. During that period, also designed a ceramic display for the miniature oil bottle samples which are located in 'high end' stores around the country. I still enjoyed oil painting, pastels, sketching, etc. I love writing and have three manuscripts, the largest volume being 369 pages, the shortest at 52. Would love to write one about our beautiful Rushford some day. Music is my relaxation. I enjoy dancing alone at home for exercise, and singing with my guitar, auto harp and piano. Several songs are copyrighted and two of them went on tour with a Dutch couple in Europe. Another song is part of a list sung by an American group. Am a romantic, love castles, life and living...and as in high school, still have a listening ear for others and a good sense of humor. This gives a little insight as to what I am about and hope that I can get to hear from other classmates and what they have done and are doing. I have an unsatiable need to study science and what God has created. My life will soon take a marvelous turn in which I am eternally grateful to what is coming but am not at liberty to discuss. More will come later. Thanks for the chance to share my humble life with you! I love being a woman. I often look back to the great days of RCS and its Tigers and wonder how all are doing!! Actually, I've done a scrapbooking album to commemerate those wonderful years. Rosanne (Roxie)
