Hazel's Story

I am totally & completely retired, husband too! So, I am wife, mama, Gma & soon to be GGma I have two great kids & seven grandkids & first great-grandkid on the way. Pets include a talking cat, Jack Russell named "Roxy", two lively ferrets & several barn cats. I live in Croaker surrounded by my husband's family and my own brothers & sisters. God's country, that's Croaker in spite of the in-laws & out-laws I am surrounded by. LOL I always wanted to be a teacher or a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. Mainly because, as my GK...Expand for more
ids put it, I never grew up. 08/23/2015 update So much has changed. My son & my daughter live nearby. Six of my grandkids are local as well. I now have three awesome great-grandkids; my beautiful great-granddaughter, Emilee(5) great-grandson, Jacob(4) & my newest great-grandson is Connor(2 months).& Connor's older sister, Hannah. I live for my family. I am blessed beyond belief. My husband of 54 years died peacefully on Thanksgiving Day, 2014, right here at home surrounded by family. I will miss him until I join him. Until then, I plan to live here in Croaker loving & enjoying my precious family.
