Barbara's Story

I graduated from SSHS in 1955. I immediately went to ETSU. I attended school there for 2 1/2 years. Got burned out on school and got a job with News Telegram as Asst Bookkeeper. Met the love of my life and dated for 3 years. Got Married and had 2 girls. Was the most spoiled wife ever. Was waited on hand and foot all my married life. ...Expand for more
Lost my husband in 2009 and found out how much I really did love him. We made our 50th year in April 2009 and he died in July 2009. I am still recovering. During my marriage, had a job with Rockwell International. Worked there for 30 years and then retired. Not a very exciting life I would say, but I was happy with my little family.
