Clay's Story
After graduating high school I went into the Air Force and served until December 1980. During my stint in the military I lived in Georgia and Germany. I received an Honorable Discharge on December 8, 1980 which just happened to be the day john Lennon was shot. I will never forget picking up the paper the next morning and reading those headlines.
After leaving the Air Force I settled in the Austin area. I worked several odd jobs trying to find the right one, but I just couldn't seem to find the one for me at the time. In 1983 I went to work for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft, in Saudi Arabia, training members of the Royal Saudi Air Force in F-15 Maintenance. That didn't go over well with my girlfriend at the time. She was Jewish.

ful woman with red hair, and wanted to marry a military man so I went back into the Air Force in 1985. We were married in 1988 after I returned from Iceland. It was during this stint that I also served in Operation Desert Shield/Storm.
After returning from the war I became a father in December 1992 to a bouncing baby boy. I went through a divorce in 1995 and lost my father to heart disease the same year. In late 1996 my son developed leukemia, but with the grace of God he overcame the disease and was declared cured shortly after his 12th birthday. One month later he became a first degree black belt in Karate. He gets his license this month (April 2009).
I currently live and work in San Marcos, TX, where I graduated from Texas State University in December 2001. I received a Degree in Anthropology with a minor in Computer Science. I currently work as a computer technician at a local computer repair shop.
