Douglas's Story
Since leaving SHS I went off to Colorado State University and received a BS in Environmental Science--headed to Chicago and began working with the US Dept. of Labor, then to Seattle and back to Denver. While with the government received my Masters of Public Health in Occupational Safety and Health--left the government and began my work in the Pacific Northwest first in the shipbuilding industry and then moved to Boeing where I currently am. ently the Director of Safety for the company--slated to retire December 31 of this year.
Married in 1988 in India, one daughter who is a freshman in high school. Live in a suburb of Seattle, and also have a home in Bangalore, India. Still active with tennis and golf...and my daugther's fast pitch softball teams. My wife is very active in the East Indian classical music scene--as well as my daughter sings both east and west classical music.
