Sandra's Story
I lived on Union Ave. until 1956, and stayed in Bridgeport through 1961. My family moved to Milford and I lived "at home" until I married in 1962 when we bought our home in Fairfield. We lived in the same house until 2000 where we raised our three (3) children. In 2000 I bought a condo in Milford and have been here ever since. rial/bookkeeping most of my working life; my last position, from which I retired last year (2008) was with the I.R.S. in Bridgeport. My children are, of course, grown up; and I have four (4) gorgeous grands (2 girls and 2 boys). One of my daughters is a school teacher in Shelton and she and her husband have their own band ("Frantic City"). Stacey is the drummer. My other daughter is an RN, but works for Met Life (yup, Snoopy's company). My son is an investigative reporter in Baltimore, MD.
