So you want to know about my life. Well, In 10th grade I met the man of my dreams... Jim Yates, and we dated the rest of High School. He proposed at the Senior Prom. We graduated in May 1975 and married in April 1976. We had our first and only child (Shannon) in July 1977. Things were great until he asked for a divorce one year later. Our divorce was final on Valentine's Day 1979. I was single for 13 years. During that time we (me and Shannon) moved to Columbus, OH for 3 years, then to Sacramento, CA for 9 months. I got really home sick so I moved back to Louisville. I met my current husband in December 1986 and how ironic... he proposed on Valentine's Day 1987. We were married in March 1987 and have been married for 22 years now. My daughter was, and is, my best friend. She was the one piece of stability I had in my life. She married a wonderful man (Matt Young) in 1998. They have 2 beautiful children, a daughter - Hailey, and a son - Stephen. They are the apples of my eye. I cherish each and every moment I get to spend with them. They live close so I see them often.
