Dorothy's Story
Well, since Grammer school, I have done a lot and been lots of places that I never would have dreamed I would. I was married for 26 years to a man that I fell head over heels in love with. We married at Eastway Baptist Church right across the street from my house on Buena Vista Rd. Lucille Patrick and I used to walk home from school together every day. We were best friends and we have found each other in the last 3 months or so. It is so special sharing with her.
My husband and I had three children, two girls and a boy, Joe Jr. I lost my Tina the oldest at age 40 last August. I thought it would kill me but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. ...Expand for more
Being at Eastway Elem has brought back so many happy memories.
I divorced my husband in 1994 and moved to Atlanta where I live now...well in Dallas, GA really. I never go to Atlanta unless someone else drives me. I have been single now for 15 yrs and will probably never remarry.
I enjoy the old car shows they have in downtown Dallas. The last weekend of the month they close the streets off and just have these old cars and lots of music and old fashioned ice cream.
They just aren't making anymore of the old car classics.
Hope you all are well and things are good for you. Today is a marvelous day in the neighborhood.
Later,
Dottie Belisle-Langford
