Nicholas's Story
The last time I saw most of you I was standing in the ASU Acadome parking lot right after graduation. Unfortunately I didn't walk across that stage with you, some legal stuff got in the way and I was forced to get a GED. From there I hopped from job to job, trying my hardest to make things work.
In September of 2007 I got the chance to work for the Department of Defense as a contractor on Maxwell AFB. Things started looking up from there as I was getting into my career, the IT field. Bought a BMW and started looking for a house, things were great. I spent a year on Maxwell and then a golden egg dropped into my lap. willing to pay handsomely for it.
So in November of 2008 I joined the Telos Corporation as a Systems Administrator in a little island country called Bahrain. So here I am overseas, working some strange hours but making a six figure salary to compensate for it. If I play my cards right I'll return to live somewhere near Prattville in about 10 years, buy a house and car with cash and start traveling for the fun of it.
I got on here because I wanted to see how your lives and dreams panned out. Did you ever become a doctor or lawyer, or get married and start having kids? Have you traveled the world and seen things or did you stay near home and go to work at a local food joint?
