Bruce's Story
Well, I'm not really a big wheel in the world of finance, world affairs, politics or the arts. I get by. I live in the vicinity of Washington DC, which is where I retired from the Army back in 1999. I've been married since 1982 and I have 2 kids, one born in 1988 and the other in 1990. The first, my daughter wants to be a government contracting consultant.. She got her MBA from Virginia Tech of 2017. My son is a Software Engineer for a government contractor. Neither of them is married or even close.
I follow just about every subject with great interest and I have considerable time on my hands because I am disabled with Multiple Sclerosis. A lot of time...Expand for more

I'm not sure how I'm remembered. I have a picture of myself whilst in Northport HS as an abrasive, arrogant, anti social asshole. I don't think I had much empathy or sympathy for anyone. If this is the way you remember me, I most sincerely apologize. If I had it to do all over again, most everyone would love me I am certain.
I don't have much connection to Northport anymore. My mother died there in 1990 and she was the only family I had in the area. I've gained 50 lbs since I left Northport in 1975 along with a lot of wisdom. Thank you for not punching me out back then, because the way I remember it, I certainly deserved it.
